My name is Allie. I am an aspiring Child Life Specialist about to begin my internship this Fall! Super thankful and blessed for the ways God has directed these steps.
When I began my practicum, I started looking for inspiration for weekly therapeutic activities. Although Pinterest and some websites were very helpful in this pursuit, I started wishing there was a specific Child Life website I could go to with different developmentally appropriate activities and ideas.
So, I decided to start a website of my own that could provide a good solution for Child Life Specialists and students to all share in continuing to create, develop, and implement activities for precious children and their families in the hospital.
My goal:
1. That maybe some of my activities would be a good starting point for you to be inspired to alter and create your own activities for children you are working with.
2. That you would feel welcome to share your feedback and ideas as well…the Child Life community should be one of collaboration after all!
